The "Casimiro Mondino National Neurological Institute" Foundation is one of the most important scientific organizations at national and international level in the field of neuroscience. Its purpose is to carry out and promote scientific research concerning prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation related to nervous and mental diseases. The new headquarters of the Institute in Cravino, entirely designed by Studio Calvi, welcomes hospitals and facilities for research and teaching. The design system consists of two main building blocks, included between the stair towers: the first block for healthcare purposes includes outpatient functions, hospital stays and hospital functions; the second block is characterized by the structures dedicated to research and training.
