Palazzo Pellegrini

Pellegrini Palace, former Giorgi palace, is a urban patrician palace built in the eighteenth-century in the north-west sector of Pavia, with the typical sequence of U-shaped plan, courtyard and garden. The porch, limited to the entrance block, is made up of granite Doric high columns. The renovation works brought to the elimination of those parts built during the years and to the enhancement of the original architectural features, allowing the use of the noble floor for residential purposes (former apartment for winter) and of the ground floor for offices (rooms for summer). Since 1997 Studio Calvi is located within Palazzo Pellegrini. As part of the intervention has been retained the garden, where there are rare botanical specimens, and was built next to the historical building, an underground garage.
